James E. LaSalle, 13-Year-Old Schoolboy, Dies

James E. LaSalle, 13-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter LaSalle of 941 Wilder, died early this morning at Shodair Hospital following an illness of several months.

James was born February 9, 1947 in Helena, the son of Walter and Betty Howatt LaSalle.  He was a seventh grade student at the Helena Jurnior High School.

Surviving besides his parents are a sister, Suszanna, 11; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur LaSalle of Boise, Idaho; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Howatt, Lavina; and several aunts and uncles.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m., Monday in St. Helena Cathedral.  Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.  Retz Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
