Hello everyone. This is Rob Gurney, Bob’s son. I just wanted to let everyone know that my dad went into sudden cardiac arrest last night at home and passed away. My family and I would appreciate prayers for us. GOD bless.

It's always so sad to hear about the passing of a fellow classmate. They are going too fast. I only knew Bob as a brief friend, but sometimes that's how it is in high school. He was interested in people and things that they did. He impressed me as a very interesting guy and I always liked our brief incounters. Rest in peace Bob.

It is always sad to see another classmate depart. Another page torn from our yearbook.
Bob and I shared good times in high school and our years together in 4-H. Also with his brothers Rex and Marshall.
Good thoughts and prayers for his family.
