In 1950 the Halvorson family were living in Redondo Beach, CA. 
From about 1960-1964 they lived in Hemet, CA where Steven graduated from Hemet Union high school in 1965. He was very active in his class. He participated in Key Club 2,3; Varsity Club 3,4; Football 1,4; Basketball 1,2,3; Baseball 1; Tennis 2,3,4; Variety Show 2, 3, 4
He was married in 1977 to Eva "Carol" Duggar in Santa Barbara. In 1993 they lived in Solana Beach, CA. In 1994-2020. Oceanside, CA
In 2003 Steve’s mother, Hazel Lavay Hubbs of Hemet, CA died at the age of 78.
From 2003-2007 they lived in Vancouver, WA. In 2008 They lived in Idyllwild, CA Steve was then age 63. In 2010 his father George Erwin Halvorson (1913–2010) died in Hemet, CA. 

In 2021 sister Carole Dianne Halvorson (1945-2021) died in La Grand, OR

Steve was an executive at the San Diego zoo. They lived in Solano Beach and he later died in Del Mar, CA 

After Steve’s death, his good friend,
Richard Swenson commented on Facebook “Steve was such a great guy, with a big heart. Steve, Allynn Silvas, Dave Pillow, and I had a great time together tooling around the valley back in the day! He and I were both born in the same hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Blessings to Steve and his family.”
Steve was well loved by his family and his friends. 🌹🌹
