He had drag raced since school. Him and mom had show horses. Friendly guy. Started college in Arizona.~~ Larry Hubbard ****   Larry reported to me that Mike was killed in a drag racing accident: He thought occurred in Arizona someplace but he wasn't sure of the year but he knew he was survived by his mother.  The only information that I could find that was remotely matching was this:

Michael Donald Downs, born 10th of December 1946 in San Diego County.  His mother's maiden name was Vanderbush. His death was in Riverside county on April 4, 1889.  That would have made him 42.  I could not find any Michael Downs who were killed in Arizona at any time.  If anyone has any more information we would welcome it.
