Wow. What can I say? Steve was quite a guy. He was involved in almost everything and he accomplished so much while a student at Hemet High. I played football with him and he was so good at all he tried. It's always so sad to hear about the passing of people from our class. Some are remembered more than others but everyone was important and special. Rest in Peace Steve.

“Steve Hale” was born in Hemet, California. His family: Parents: Jay and Janice; Brothers : Jim and Larry. They lived there when Steve graduated from Hemet Union high school in 1965. Steve was a brilliant student and extremely popular. He was Co-Valdictorian along with Cindy Pendleton. He was our Student Body President which is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon by all students of the High School.

Son, Jay William Hale, Daughter Angela Christine Newton Hale, grandchildren, Jay Devon Hale, Kaela Leilani Hale, Seth Terrance Hale.
They lived in Texas and California. After their divorce in 1980 Steve lived in Fairfield, California and Truckee California. He lived in Concord, California in 1993 about the time that he married “Cookie.” Veronica Harris. They lived in Fairfield California until Steve’s death in 2023.
All his friends (including me)and his family are devastated by his loss.
