Harold Dennis Shoup, 58, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died Tuesday at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born March 12, 1947, in Detroit to Harold Robert and Rose Ann High Shoup. He was an inventory control supervisor at McKee Foods and was a Vietnam veteran, SGT US Marine Corps. He was head elder of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Siloam Springs and worked with Pathfinders. He graduated from John Brown University, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and was a member of Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Jean Shoup of Siloam Springs; a daughter, Dawn L. Shoup of Crete, Greece; four sons, R. David Shoup and H. Dennis Shoup of Jasper, Fla., Daniel J. Shoup of Siloam Springs and Darin N. Shoup of Gentry; Arkansas, a sister, Dolores M. Shoup of Morrisonville, Ill.; and four grandchildren.
Memorial service will be announced later.
Cremation arrangements are by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home.
