 J. BERNARD COYNE Bernard Coyne, 83, died on Friday, June 11 at his home in Murrieta. Born in Bridgeport, CT in 1927. He was a member of St. Martha\'s Catholic Parish in Murrieta and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by parents Bernard and Laurine Coyne and daughter, Sharon Coyne Coffer. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Shirley Coyne; daughter Linda Coyne and son Brian Coyne, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also survived by brothers Robert Coyne of Knoxville TN and Ed Coyne of Stratford, CN. He was a teacher and administrator for 38 years in AZ and Riverside County. He enjoyed being active in many local and state education associations. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday June 17, 2010 at Miller Jones Mortuary. Located at 26770 Murrieta Rd. Sun City, CA, 92586. Funeral Mass will be on Friday June 18, 2010 at Saint Martha\'s Parish, Murrieta, CA. Graveside service will immediately follow at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery in Hemet. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Hospice of the Valleys.

Mr. Coyne taught me to drive in a column shift Driver's Ed. car back & forth on the Idyllwild/Hemet highway. He was so kind and patient and, needless to say, had nerves of steel. What a sweet man!
