Bonnie Jean Brook, 53, died Dec. 16, 2003 at her brother's home in Hemet. Miss Brook was born and raised in Hemet.More recently, she lived in East Sussex, England. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Alma Brook, founders of Meadowbrook Convalescent Hospital in Hemet. Miss Brook was a longtime volunteer at a skilled-nursing home and an animal shelter, both in England. She is survived by a sister, Janine Schweickert of Washington; two brothers, James and Michael, both of Hemet; three nieces; and six nephews. Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet. Inurnment will be private.
