Catherine Jill Edingfield was born in 1950. Her parents were Jack and Marilyn Jones Edingfield. She had an older sister, Shelly Ann. Her father was an electrical contractor. Cathy. Cathy went to school in Hemet and graduated with her class in 1968.
After high school she went to college in San Diego State University where she received her BS. She married her husband, Hylton Ratliff Murphy in Escondido. They lived in Encinitas and Escondido most of their married lives. She was living
in Escondido where she passed away last New Year’s Eve.
