Above is the final t shirt order as of right now.

As you can see I ordered extra shirts. These shirts will be sold on a first come basis. It is my goal to sell all these extra shirts to those people who did not place an advance order but still wants a shirt.

Here is the new design for the back of the Reunion t-shirt!

I have only had a few people place orders for the shirts thus far. The deadline to order shirts will be this Monday Oct. 22, in order for me to have the shirts printed and ready by Nov. 3

For those that would like a shirt but may not be able to attend the Reunion, you are more than welcome to still order a shirt.

The results of my tshirt survey show that a majority of you are interested in tshirts for our Reunion.

So, I had someone design a shirt for our class and I will be ordering them next week so that they will be ready in time for the Reunion.

The t-shirts will be $10 for XS-XL, and $12 for 2XL and 3XL

I will have the shirts available to pick up the Friday before the Reunion, for those who would like to wear it to the cookout on Saturday afternoon. And for those who would like to get there shirts on Saturday, you may do that as well.

 I am just trusting that if you request a shirt that you will commit to paying for it.

Even if you are not attending the Reunion, you are still more than welcome to purchase a shirt.

Hi Class,

Our 10-year reunion is quickly approaching. Unfortunately, very few people have registered and/or paid up to this point. I hate to bug you all again, but we are getting down the wire. Our planning is at a standstill because we have to have a certain number of people paid before we can move forward. I'm sure we were all waiting until the last moment (I know I do it, myself), but if you could take some time and log-in to our website, register and pay for the reunion that will get us back on track. That being said, I have recently touched base with our venue and they are excited to accomodate us. Several of you have mentioned doing a slide-show to display at the reunion. I think that this is a great idea. Does anyone want to offer to spear-head this and collect pictures? I think it would be a nice bonus to the evening. Some of you have also contacted us individually to offer various sevices or help, and don't worry, we've got you down for those specifical things.

 Great News!

We have secured a venue for our 10-year class reunion!

Location: Greenway’s Authentic Charcoal Grill located at 200 S Garnett St, Henderson, NC 27536.

If you are not familiar with this new restaurant, it was formerly Middleburg Steakhouse. It is now located in the old Wildflower Café location in downtown Henderson.

Date: November 3, 2012

Time:  Officially 9:00 – 12:00pm (see below for more details)-

Details: The owners and managers at Greenway’s have been more than accommodating!! They will need to stay open for dinner (at 5pm) to the public. Alan Norwood has agreed to be our DJ and he will begin setting up at 8:30 pm and start playing by 9pm. We will not do an organized dinner meal for the reunion to keep individual costs down (and it was the only way we could secure the location), but Greenway’s is happy to accept reservations of 5 or more on that night for dinner before the reunion officially begins. I encourage each of you to get back in touch with your closest friends and make a reservation for dinner at Greenways for that Saturday night (maybe around 6:30 or 7), so you’ll be there and ready to start the evening off. We will have a buffet with appetizers and light hors d'oeuvres set up, but it will not be enough to make a whole meal off of. The bartender will be there and set up from opening (at 5pm) – closing (whenever we wind things down) for anyone who wants to purchase beverages.

There are several exciting aspects of having it at Greenway’s. First and foremost, the cost is very affordable! We don’t know the exact prices right now per person, but they are significantly less than what we were originally looking at with a venue. More details to come about assessment fees soon. Secondly, this allows us to have the event on the originally planned date at a central location in Henderson.  Lastly, it is a perfectly sized place to accommodate our group. There is a small stage, large dance floor and it has plenty of seating.

Now that we have the location and these details set up, the rest of the planning can begin.  We will still do the lake day, so there will also be plenty of other details to set up. I have the names of ~20 people who have offered to help. Thank you!!!  You’ll be contacted soon.

One last thing…THANK YOU for registering on this website! This is going to help us in the long-run because it will assist in getting the assessment fees, manage the RSVPs, and allow us to message the group. There are only 43 people signed up now, so please let’s get the other ~150 people to sign up and register. Send emails, call, text, FB message anyone you can think of and tell them that we are using this website and that we want them to register.
