Mark grew up in Miami Springs and went to 1st Presbyterian Church, as many of us did. I remember his parents (his father may have died while we were in high school) and younger brother George. I heard many years ago that Mark had died, but I have no details. RIP
I knew Mark in Junior High as he was in our Boy Scout troop. We also took the trip to Washington D.C. together in M.S. Jr. Hi. Lost touch in High School and do not kow the deatials of his death.RIP
Due to a hurricane in August 64 destroying the front of our house on 60th Street, I moved to Miami Springs and lived with my grandparents until December. Mark picked me up hitch hiking home one day and we became friends. Working at Mansene's and school kept me busy. I got to know Mark much better my first year of college. He and Joe Pascual both became very good friends my last year. God rest their souls. Pete.
Mark and I were close friends from the 7th Grade until half way through our Senior Year. We were almost "tied at the hip" as we did almost everything together. We even went to get our "Social Security Cards together and were one number apart. Mark was a very good person and had many friends. He helped me through some personal tragidies and I helped him some of his own. We had a "falling out" our senior year and didn't speak to each other for 20 years. I was visiting the Springs years later and happened to go by his old house. Mark was in the yard working so I stopped to say "hello". I said, "Remember me", and after a minute he responded. " you're my old friend Ray". We started to stay in touch with one another until I heard from his roommate that He had passed on. He was a great friend with a great personality and He is missed by many. RIP my good friend.

Mark was one of my friends at HHS and he was a good guy with a good sense of humor. I can't believe he passed away so many years ago at such a young age. I found his obituary after a lot of searching online. Rest In Peace, Mark!
