Gloria Goodlet (Doddridge)

I knew Michael since elementary school.  He was always kind.  He was also funny.  He was not a big guy but he was a good athlete and competitor.

Vince - I believe you served with Michael's brother Eric, who was in the class of '66, was in Viet Nam, and is still very much alive.  Michael was never in Viet Nam nor in the service as far as I know!  Mike Turner

Like Gloria, I knew Mike from 1st grade. He wasn't very big, but he was bigger than I was and always saw the good around himself. RIP, Mike. We'll see you soon.

Vince you are correct, Mike was never in the serevice, but Eric was. Mike was a very good friend to me. We spent quite a bit of time cruising the everglades. We were in contact for a bit before he passed. I have great memories of him.

Michael R. RICHEY

 

 

 

RICHEY, Michael R., age 65, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2012, in Sebring, FL.

He was born in Baltimore, MD, on February 8, 1947, to Robert and Jeanette (Glover) Richey. He was a Mechanic for the Airlines, he enjoyed refinishing furniture and was a resident of Lake Placid, FL, since 1994 coming from Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

He is survived by his wife, Lola Kay Richey of Lake Placid; daughter, Tyra of Texas; son, Eric Richey of Tennessee; step-sons, Aaron Adkins of Lake Placid and David Shuey of Okeechobee, FL; step-daughters, Amy Adkins of Sebring and Marsha Wilson of MO; granddaughter, Alyssa; brother, Eric Richey of Miami Springs, FL; 7 grandhildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a step-son, Mike Shuey. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home Sebring, FL www.stephenson nelsonfh.com

Barbara Coddington (Wall)

Mike was a good friend since elementary school! Yvonne DeLara, karen Myers, Eric, Sandy Ziegler, Gail Ziegler, and I would all hang out at Bright Park! We had great times. So sad to lose Mike and Yvonne! I know they are causing trouble in heaven!
