Joe proved himself as a fine friend to those who knew him. It's in the nature of the ego to take and the nature of the spirit to give. He gave his time unconditionally when I needed a ride to school. That 57 Chevy, affectionately called the White Whale, and Joe's generosity got me to school several times. I've felt deeply indebted my entire life to a true friend. Myriad thanks to Joe.
