Elizabeth died 2-10-2005 age age 57 from Stage IV Breast Cancer in Tallapoosa, Georgia and is survied by:Son: John Owens Daughter-in-law: Tabitha Owens Grandchildren: John David, Dillon, and Shane.

Elizabeth "Liz" Jones went to Palm Springs Junior High prior to Hialeah High. She married after high school and had a son named John Owens. Following a divorce she married Jerry Kettleman, from our class of HHS-65, on October 3, 1975. Jerry and Liz moved to Tallapoosa, Georgia, with son John in the mid-1980's. They owned and operated the local NAPA auto parts store in Tallapoosa. Liz came down with stage IV breast cancer in December 2004 and she passed away on February 10, 2005, a few months before the HHS-65 40-year reunion that summer which she wanted to attend.
