Coming out of HHS in '60-'61 I was employed at Citizens Federal S&L for almost 3 years; everything from wrapping new account gifts to keeping cookies/orange juice on the tables on Friday nights when we were open late. Citizens helped me get started at Univ Mia but having a red/white convertible in those days was just more fun than studying. Looking back it would be easy to say Bowling was my downfall in some ways. It caused me to lose the Citizens job but winning the City Championship in '63 always gave me a "starter" for discussions on my resume.
However it took 20 years of Jr Coll, etc to finally earn an MBA at Nova U in Ft L.
(Well, all this is making me cry but I am now in Texas, retired with great wife Nancy and puppy Luna. I owned & ran Tindell Feed while my children grew up and got back into banking after that experience untill retirement in 2014. km

Have a dozen great school stories but always involved other people who might not think they are as funny as I did.

I have always felt graduating from Hialeah High was like a badge of courage. The times were certainly different that today's 2025. I think people were kinder in general but I have never felt there was anything wrong with being from Hialeah!
