MIKKI ELIZABETH LINER Mikki Elizabeth Liner, 28, of Cloverdale Dr., Greensboro died April 17, 1998, at her residence, after a period of declining health.

Funeral will be 4 p.m. today at Catawba Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Stephen Delisle. Burial will be in Catawba Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Catawba Funeral Home.

Born Sept. 20, 1969 in Mecklenburg Co., she was the daughter of George R. and Rubye Brewer Liner, was a member of Unitarian Church in Greensboro and was an actress/director. She appeared at Open Air Theater, Lime Kill, Lexington, Va., featuring the Hatfields and McCoys, appeared in Wilmington with Columbo, appeared in movie 'Betsy's Wedding' with Molly Ringwald and Alan Alda. She received tutoring in Hollywood, Calif., under the direction of Don Knox's private tutor. She participated in a Cancer Patient Support Program for Bowman Gray School of Medicine to make a video to be shown in hospitals to other cancer patients. She was a UNC Greensboro director and actress, a director and actress at the Community Theater in Greensboro. She received a B.A. in Fine Arts at the University of N.C. Greensboro and was a former employee at the House of Health in Greensboro.

She is survived by brothers, Kurt Edward Lemp of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and George Samuel Liner of Hickory.

Memorials may be made to the University of N.C. Greensboro, Arts Scholarship Fund, Attn: John Rogers, 3502 Cloverdale Dr., Greensboro, NC 27408; or Hospice at Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405.

Mikki was a very outgoing and beautiful person. She always had a smile on her face and seemed to be very positive all the time. She will be missed!
