Bruce died Oct. 5, 2015 in De Witt, Iowa. He was one of my dearest and closest friends in high school. We discussed our "crushes" and thoughts to each other on lazy Saturdays sitting around my house, walking up to the Deerfield Record Shop or taking our skates up to the town skating rink for a day of ice-skating.

We double-dated many times in high school and years later, as 2 married couples we socialized and knew each other's children. Alas, we drifted apart over the years, Wally and I divorced and I did not hear of Bruce's death until much later. I cried long and hard for my friend.
