Things are going well for the Parods - after raising three kids and working 18 years for a major retail photography company. Now I golf, play tennis and take care of my four-year-old triplet grandchildren. Two identical girls and their fraternal brother. We are blessed! My husband John retired in 1997 after a career as a family practice physician. We have lived in Plymouth, Minnesota (suburb of Minneapolis) for 42 years and have enjoyed the lakes, the Winters and the Vikings, North Stars, Wild, Twins, and Gophers.

I volunteered in assisting youth sporting teams throughout the years - baseball, football, hockey, soccer, softball etc.

I came to Highland Park High School for my Senior year and had some of the best times of my life. I found my classmates to be some of the best people I have ever met - including the teaching staff! My Father was a Colonel in the U.S. Army and was posted all over the country - so we moved often. I was born in 1941 in Honolulu, Hawaii - just prior to the Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor and after the war wound up living in Japan with the U.S. Occupation forces. I went to three different High Schools my Senior year (Norfolk, VA, Princess Anne HS, VA and then Highland Park.).

After high school I attended Longwood College (now Longwood U.) in Virginia, majoring in health and physical education. After graduation I worked for a year as a P-E teacher before getting married and starting a family.
