Robert “Bob” D. Sassorossi , 80, passed away on April 3, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family and friends. Bob was born on November 30, 1941 to Frank and Caroline (Pasquesi) Sassorossi in Highland Park, Illinois. At the time of his passing he was survived by his brother, Larry (Peg) Sassorossi, and brother Joe (Sandra) Sassorossi, 8 nieces and nephews, 16 grand nieces and nephews , 7 great grand nieces and nephews and his loving extended family of first cousins. Bob was proceeded in death by his parents, and dear friend Ray Mikkelson. His brother Joe joined him in eternal rest on May 6, 2022.

Bob attended Immaculate Conception School and graduated from Highland Park HIgh School and Xavier College. A former school teacher, Bob retired from the State of Illinois Unemployment Office in Chicago. Bob and Ray retired to Plantation Florida and spent time antiquing, bicycling, attending flea markets and enjoying the sun. Bob will be missed for his quick wit and great sense of humor.
