Really? I am so sad. Paul was such a talented artist. My heart is broken. I have wondered about Paul for a long time. I have a sketch he did of me senior year--it was terrific! I'll cherish it always, especially since I look so young and happy.
Paul M. Chase, age 58, beloved partner of Terry Briner. Cherished son of Lorraine, nee Fishman and the late Norman Chase. Devoted brother of Beth (Sam) Avraham and Leslie (Richard) Korengold. Adored uncle of Joey Avraham, Veronica and Lucas Korengold. A loving cousin, nephew and friend to many. Paul was a dedicated health care lawyer & advocate fighting for health insurance for those who could not afford their own. Paul was a gentle kind man who loved playing the guitar, and had a deep appreciation of the outdoors. Memorial service Sunday 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covering Kids & Families of Indiana, P.O. Box 1302-1302, South Bend, IN 46624 . I, too, am stunned and saddened by this loss. I had a crush o Paul in fourth grade! He was a very talented artist and a kind soul. Our mothers grew up together. How beautiful that Paul did a portrait of you, Amy, and what a wonderful keepsake. I'm kicking myself even more for having missed the last reunion. How sad.
Paul was a very good guy who did important public interest advocacy work in Indiana to improve health care access and affordability. He helped make the world a little better and fairer place for many. -- Howard
Paul was a kind soul who worked hard for those who needed a champion. I admire that so much. My heart goes out to his loved ones and friends. The world lost a good man.
Paul was a good friend of mine in high school, although hadn't seen him since graduation. Being a health provider myself, I admired his work in the medical world. He will be missed terribly, and I am very saddened by his very untimely passing.
