Stunned to see Roy's name here -- was not aware he was gone. I remember him as a very, very nice guy and an excellent soccer player -- we took up the game at the same time, starting out on the JV with Coach Mellonig, and he was so much better than me it was ridiculous. We carpooled to Hebrew school at Beth El, and his mom was my substitute teacher in grammar school at West Ridge. Deeply saddened to learn of his premature passing.
