Paul was my most frequent lunch trading partner in high school. My mom's shrimp salad sandwiches were his favorite, and I would always have to report back to her whether or not Paul had enjoyed the day's selection! I honestly think she sometimes made my lunch just for him...
To this day, I can't eat shrimp salad without thinking of Paul. My mom's probably making him lunch right now.

I drive by Paul's house every day and think about him. I believe he is in heaven making everyone laugh an having fun.

I love this story about trading your lunch. I bet your mom did make your lunches for him.
As a mom who made lunch every single day for 3 kids, I would have been just like your mom.
It's sad and tragic the way he had died, nice that you have something so sweet to remember him by.
