Ten years gone by...I spent the college years up in Rochester, NY studying film/sound, Japanese and snow survival skills. Crewed and traveled on the audio team of a few commercial bands during college summers which led to me pursuing a career in audio. At HHS I graduated knowing I would move out to CA in an effort to work in the entertainment business, that was still the case at the end of college. Of course, I didn't take into account meeting my future wife our senior year of college. Fortunately, I lucked out and she decided to follow me out to Los Angeles and I'm so glad she did. We married in 2007, in Rochester, NY, Andrew Marvuglio was the best man.
Since being in Los Angeles I've worked on various audio location recording and sound editorial jobs, enjoying the flexibility and stress of freelance life. A lot of the work has allowed me the opportunity to travel and meet new people. I've been fortunate enough to work on episodic television, features, reality television, etc.; every branch of this business is crazy and demands intense patience. Currently, I focus on post work for episodic tv and features, specifically sound design/recording and dialogue editorial. I'm lucky enough to have a lot of my sound work utilized in theatrical features and television.
Rebekah is a speech pathologist at a wonderful facility. There is no better person in the world to be with, that's all I can really say.
It's fantastic to see all the other profiles on here and learn what the '98 is great' class is doing. I can't believe I just remembered that.
