Obituary reads: SANDY, Utah - Peggy Jan Neibaur Burtenshaw, 48, Sandy, Utah, died Friday, September 21, 2000. She was born Nov. 29, 1951, in Ashton, the daughter of Bruce and Lila Neibaur. She grew u in Rupert. Peggy attended Minico High School and Utah State University. February2, 1973, she married Bruce Burtenshaw for time and all eternity in the Logan Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Peggy loved her family, music, studying the scripture a nd the Savior.She was an active member of the LDS Church. She held many positions including Relief Society President, ward choir director, ward and stake Primary president and as a counselor in the Young Women's Presidency. She is survived by her husband Bruce, and five beloved children: Emily Lila (Breck) Pilling, Elise Sophie (Travis) Anderson, Adam Bruce Burtenshaw, Chelsea Jan Burtenshaw and David Edward Burtenshaw, and five wonderful grandchildren; three sisters, Jeneane Long, Nancy Gates and Annette King; a brother, Mac Bruce Neibaur; and her father Bruce Neibaur. She was preceded in death by a son, Adam Bruce Burtenshaw; and her mother, Lila Neibaur. Peggy was a devoted wife and mother, she was loved by all and her sweet spirit will be missed. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2000, at Hidden Oaks Ward, 11755 South Highland Drive, Sandy. Family and friends may call at the church from 6-8 this evening and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Interment will be the Paul Cemetery at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
