Gregg was extremely popular with everyone he seemed to have time to always talk to you. I always remembered when I was working at Sam Spoone's Waialae Chevron Service station and Gregg would drive by he always would beep his horn and waved. Usually he was heading up towards Kaimuki. It was strange but if he didn't drive by we missed him. It is was a great time to grow up in Hawaii. It was the best place especially in the 60's. In every other state when someone blows their horn there not interested in your day. But in Hawaii if you hear a horn 9 time out of 10 it's someone you know, saying Aloha. I miss Hawaii on a regular basis and I miss the likes of Gregg Cherry. Aloha, until we meet again.
