A cherished friend.  Carolyn read aloud to me every lunch hour under the Tree makai of the cafeteria.  She read the uncut version of Fanny Hill.  At first I was embarrassed, later just enjoyed the read.  Thanks so much Carolyn, I still relish those times.  We should have dated.

Carolyn was unique.  She lives in memory.  She didn't get involved with the drama of high school leaving manipulation, acquisition, and achievement as goals for others.  She lived for connection, fun and was enthusiastic, supportative, outgoing. The wise die too young.
