 JIMMY DALE ALFORD
            Jimmy Dale Alford, 49, of Rogers died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2002, at Rogers. He was born Oct. 27, 1952, in Hope to Dexter and Gracie Bright Alford.
            He was CEO of FM Corp. in Rogers and was a member of Central United Methodist Church. He previously worked at Pace Industries in Fayetteville as chief financial officer. Before that, he worked 13 years for Frost and Co. in Little Rock as a managing partner.
            He was a University of Arkansas graduate and a certified public accountant. He was a National Merit Scholarship recipient, a UA Presidential Scholar, a member of Sigma Chi fraternity, Arkansas All-State football player, and a Hope Football Hall of Fame inductee.
            Jim was the pure definition of a “soccer dad.” He worked tirelessly organizing, recruiting members, and carpooling for his children’s soccer games. He was also a Cub Scout dad, an avid snow skier and loved boating and traveling with his family.
            His family includes wife, Kelli Alford, and their four children, Jared, Brynn, Dax and Blakelee Alford, all of Rogers; daughter, Georgia Alford of Fayetteville; and son, Cody Alford of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one brother, Larry Alford of Jonesboro; and sister, Terri Stark of Carrollton, Texas.
            Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Central United Methodist Church on West New Hope in Rogers…. Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Service in Rogers.
