RICHARD's Obituary

Mr. Richard Lee Rider, age 64 of Patmos, Arkansas passed away, Friday, October 14, 2016 in  Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born in Hope, Arkansas on October 7, 1952 to Fairrel and Dorothy Brooks Rider.  He was retired from the timber industry as a consultant. Richard enjoyed living in his Patmos Community where he raised poultry and did cattle farming.  He also, enjoyed being Papa to his grandchildren, who loved riding on the tractor.  He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Christopher Rider.

Survivors include; his wife of 39 years Susan Boyce Rider of Patmos, his son; Derek Rider also of Patmos, his daughter; Morgan Fox, husband, Matthew of Texarkana, Texas, his brother; David Rider, wife Kay of Patmos his four grandchildren: Gabby Williams, Alex Rider, Easton Fox and Copper Fox, niece and nephew other relatives and a host of friends.
 

Visitation will begin at 1:00pm on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 S. Main Hope, AR.
