Obituaries

David Still

David Lamar Still, 49, of Hope died on May 6, 2002.

Born on July 28, 1952, at Hope, he was the son of Lee R. and June Thompson Still.  He was the owner of Arkla Plastering Co. and  member of First Methodist Church.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Still of Hope; one son, Brian Lamar Still of Hope; one daughter, Sarah Still of Hope; his parents; two brothers, Tommy Still of Texarkana and Jerry Still of Hope; one sister, Linda Still Baugh of Little Rock; two grandchildren;and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Thursday at Herndon Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Larry Ott officiating.  Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitiation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
