Robin Freeman Bobo passed away on March 3, 2008 from breast cancer. Before she died, she planned every detail of her funeral. She wanted it to be uplifting and a celebration of life. She is survived by two children: Missy and James Kelly and her husband Larry.

I met Robin in grade school when my family moved to the little town of Patmos. The school only had about sixty students so everyone knew each other pretty well.I used to go to her house and she would come to mine quite often. I remember that she laughed a lot. She had long hair and I liked to play "dress up" and fix it.
We rode the bus together for a number of years. We'd scoot down in the seat and cover our heads with a coat so we could drown out the noise around us and talk.
We remained friends through early high school and then boys, jobs, and life in general, separated us.
I was sorry to hear of her death. I will always remember her laughing and that beautiful smile.

ROBIN WAS ONE OF OUR "BEST" FRIENDS.SHE HAD THE LOVE OF THE LORD IN HER HEART.HER SRVICE WAS ON MY BIRTHDAY ONE YEAR AGO THIS SUNDAY.IT WAS THE MOST AWSOME SERVICE EVER.IT HAD SNOWED, THEN AS A BALLOON BOUQUET OF PINK & WHITE BALLOONS(PINK, FOR CANCER;WHITE FOR HER SALVATION)WAS RELEASED THE SUN WAS SHINING. Robin was indeed a wonderful strong and loving lady, and she is deeply missed. I have the pleasure of being around Robin's children and grandchildren whom she loved very much. As a matter of fact her granddaughter Mylee is mine and Jay's great neice, I am going to post some pictures of Mylee Elizabeth Bobo so that you can see Robin does live on, when you look at this beautiful little girl you can see some of Robin's features. We all miss her very much.
