In Memory

Bobby Woods

Bobby Woods was in our class but never graduated with us because he passed away before we started 7th grade. It was a tremendous loss for all of us that knew him and we wanted him remembered here with his class.

When I heard the news of Bobby passing, it was such a shock because we were all so young. We think we will live forever when we're young.

I have never forgotten Bobby and that day is one that I will never forget. Yeah, we were young and tragedies such as that just were not supposed to happen.

He was a great person and friend whom we all missed very much.

I still remember Bobby for the reasons others have listed. It was such a shock for someone our age to pass way. I can still recall hearing the news and being so shocked and sad.

Bobby and I messed around after school since we were living close to each other. I was amazed at his personality...his genuiness...I remember his boots he used to wear...and how tall he was....next thing I knew I lost a friend but I never told anyone how close we were.

I was there that day and he was holding on to me when the small boat turned over......What can I say, He was so large and I was sooo young. I held on to him as long as I could, but he still went under. This moment will never leave me

BOBBY HAS CROSSED MY MIND OFTEN THROUGH THE YEARS--HE ALWAYS GREETED ME WITH A SMILE. HE AND I WERE NOT CLOSE FRIENDS, BUT SO MANY YEARS LATER---HE CROSSES MY MIND MORE THAN FRIENDS I THOUGHT WERE CLOSE. THERE WAS SOMETHING REAL/GENUINE ABOUT BOBBY--LIKE A CHECK WRITTEN ON A MILLIONAIRE, YOU JUST KNEW IT WAS GOOD. BOBBY ALWAYS MADE ME THINK HE WAS GLAD TO SEE ME---I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING HIM AGAIN
