Bill was 69 yrs old and retired from the Schuyler Co Sheriff's Dept. as a Corrections Officer.  He was diagnosed with cancer in April of 2016.  He died on August 8, 2016 at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY.  He was married to Janet Hill Carey.  Bill has two children, Bill (Nicole), and Kim (Craig) Hogan and step-daughter, Kathe (Dan) Sempler. 9 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren.  We shall miss you, Bill, as a long time resident of Horseheads.  He resided on Hulett St. behind the corner store.
