Wayne died on Sept. 10, 2017 at his home in Atlanta, GA after having Hospice visiting nurses team for 2 years. 

He was the oldest of 7 children.  His survivors are his wife of 49 years, Sandra Jean Martin, his 2 children, Tara and Chane, his grandchildren and 5 of his siblings.  His parents, step mother and younger brother, Richard Mark Williamson, predeceased him.

Wayne was a very accomplished man.  He graduated from SUNY Buffalo through Air Force ROTC program and was the last cadet to be commissioned there in 1971.  He also received his Master's from Troy State University and later earned an ABD from Cornell University in 1979.  Wayne proudly served his country in the USAF for almost 41 years                (23 yrs active and 18 yrs Civil Service)

We are sorry to hear of Wayne's passing.  Rest in peace, Wayne.     Your 1966 HHS classmates.
