Bridget Kathleen Gedatus Tierno of Honeoye Falls, NY died on November 7,2019 after a 12 year battle with cancer. The cancer did not diminish her spirit, love of God or love of family and friends according to her husband of 36 years, Joseph P Tierno. 
Kathy to our classmates but later she went by her first name, Bridget, worked as a teacher at Martha Brown and Northside Middle School in Fairport, NY after graduating from Cortland College. Pat Charwat was a classmate there and kept in touch all these years.

Bridget volunteered recently as the school marm, Miss Bridget, at Dayton's Corners located in Penfield, NY. It is a living museum of a one-room schoolhouse from the 19th century. Anyone who would like to donate to the schoolhouse can consider a donation to:

There were no calling hours. A funeral mass was held Saturday, November 16, 2019 at St Catherine of Siena, 24 Mendon Ionia Rd, Mendon, NY

Bridget is survived by her husband, Joseph, sisters, Susan Skelly and Marion Overslaugh and many nieces and nephews.
