According to Sheryl's sister, Leslie Chambers Mulford, Sheryl died of ovarian cancer in 2006. Sheryl's husband, Bill, who she met in the Peace Corp., is still in Decatur, AL. Their daughter, Sarah, graduated from Auburn Univ. last year (2010) in architecture and is living in NYC.
