Blue Raiders~

This site will be closing on October 31, 2010. It was set up for one main purpose and that was to spread the word/reserve tickets for the Decades Reunion that took place on July 31, 2010.

Reunion for "The Best of the 80's"  Horseheads Sr. High Alumni

Here's what we do know so far: 

Date:                    Saturday. July 31, 2010 

Time:                    5 pm until Midnight Rain or Shine

                                  Appetizers start at 5pm, Dinner Hours 6pm-8pm.

Location:                TAGS, Rt. 352 Big Flats, NY

Entertainment:      Retro DJ~80's, open mic hr

Price/person:        $30.00 ea. Cash Only after July 20, 2010

~ As of July 20, 2010, Payment for reservations are no longer being made through this site. You still have time to contact us if you are interested in attending. Do so as follows:

~ ~You can still pay at the door,  but you will NEED to contact Nancy Swartz @  nhswartz2@stny.rr.com to reserve your  door ticket, the ticket price at the door: $35.00 each if not reserved w/Nancy.  Please help us in this matter. The reunion is just days away.   Thank you!

Countdown To Reunion: 

A big thank you to all of you returning and making plans to be in the area, scheduling vacations and  taking the time from hectic life schedules to return home for a special reunion! It will be a comfortable reunion to see one another & have a few laughs. Remember to bring your eyeglasses if you need them to read nametags.  How else are we going to be able to tell who is who? It has been too many years since highschool!    See you in a few!

Ann Welles, ’85, owner of Exhibit A, opens her art gallery for a Raider-reception. Two exhibitions are currently on view: Candice Gawne: Enchanted which features illuminated glass sculptures; and Gerald Mead, Assembled Meanings an exhibition of assemblage and collage. Works by other artists are also on view, and yes, for the few of you that may remember Ann as an artist; she has a handful of her own artworks on the premises.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE CLASS OF '80:

There is currently reunion plans underway for your class for a weekend event on 7/31/10 at Tag's inside the banquet room.  Linda Tarkett Fero is the only contact info I have for you.   She and her comittee are planning a separate event and have indicated to me that they do not wish to participate in our Decade Reunion. 

With that said, our motto is the more the merrier and no alumni will be turned away.   If you would like to stop in and say hello to any alumni, please contact me at nhswartz2@stny.rr.com to work out the arrangements.
