David Leroy Alcorn

David “Leroy” Alcorn, 78, of Gray Summit, MO passed away Friday, July 5, 2024.

He is survived by his wife, Anita Alcorn (nee’ McCartney) of Gray Summit; three children: Diana Rosalas and husband Troy of Sullivan, Brandi Sherwood and husband Greg of Villa Ridge, and Jason Alcorn and wife Katie of Wood River, IL; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; four sisters: Sharon Hunt of Pacific, Rhonda Purcell and husband Danny of Raymondville, Brenda Triolo and husband Joe of Bourbon, and Sheila Pyle and husband Floyd of Washington; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Thelma (nee’ Bland) Alcorn, and his brother, Charles “Ray” Alcorn.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, July 8, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Gray Summit with Pastor Darren Perkins officiating. Full military honors will immediately follow. Interment will be held privately.

Visitation for 78-year-old Leroy Alcorn will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Monday, July 8, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Gray Summit.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
