I came back to Alief after graduating from college and have not left since then. I started my teaching profession in Alief in 1993 where I was a special education teacher for 5 years. I then worked in Alief as a diagnostician where I tested students being referred for special education (with a specialty in Autism). Currently, I am an Alief ISD Assessment Coordinator and supervise the diagnosticians for the district.
I am married to Tony Black (graduate from Elsik in 1989) and we live in the Missouri City area. Even though we went to school together for all of those years, we re-met in 1996 and were married in 1997. We have been very happily married since then and have two very beautiful schnauzer puppies as our children.
