I attended HBU and Sam Houston before finding my place in Aggieland at Texas A&M Univeristy. There I gained my BS in Engineering. After graduating, I moved to Lufkin, Texas where I worked for Lufkin Industries for 10 years. Currently, I am the City Engineer and Public Works Director for the City of Lufkin.
I married my high school sweetheart, Becky Bono-Walker. We have been married over 12 years and have two children: Ashley-8 and Trey-4.
