Tommy Bernis Jackson, 44, Southside, passed away on Friday, Dec. 9, 2011. Tommy was born in Houston, Texas, and spent summers with grandparents in Brent.

He is survived by his wife, Jacinda; and daughter, Jeneesa; parents, Larry and Carol Jackson, Brent; aunts and uncles, Albert "Buddy" Jackson, Kay Broadhead, Rita Carlee, Delores Hobson, Michael "Chunky" Jackson, Centreville area; his aunt, Betty Whittington and uncle, Clent Brown, Texas. He leaves numberous nephews, nieces and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Rockco Funeral Home, Centreville.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial in Pineland Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joey Carlee, Larry "Scooter" Compton, Todd Jackson, Ronnie "Muff" Miskelley, Robert Payton, Timothy Payton and Creed Potter. Honorary pallbearer will be Michael "Chunky" Jackson.

Tommy was a member of MeadowBrook Baptist Church. He was a man of integrity, honesty, compassion and service. Tommy's legacy is love and family.
