JAKOB KLINGENBERG, II, 83, of Sugar Land, Texas went to be with his Lord surrounded by his family on Wednesday afternoon, September 28, 2011 at Herman Memorial Hospital in Houston, Texas. He preached his last sermon Sunday, September 25 and on Monday experienced a severe stroke which claimed his life later that week. Jakob served as pastor of the Anderson Road Baptist Church for 41 years.

Jakob's goal in life was that you would come to know Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour and grow in your walk with the Lord. Philippians 1:6 "- being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."

Funeral services will be at: Anderson Road Baptist Church, 5114 Anderson Road, Houston, Texas 77053, at 10:00am on Saturday, October 1, 2011

Interment will be at: Greenvine Baptist Church, 5010 FM 2502, Burton, Tx 77835 at 4:00pm the same day.  Memorials can be given to Anderson Road Baptist Church Steeple Fund.
