SARAH AGNES MAAZ WILSON, 87, went to be with her Lord on April 21, 2003. She was retired from Broadway Baptist Church School after 25 years of service. She along with her husband, Lawrence, were active in the Mission Program of 1st Baptist Church going to the countries of Equador, Kenya, Nigeria, Russia, Rumania, India, Bolivia and Brazil. They also traveled to all of the 50 U.S. states and the providences of Canada. She is survived by her beloved husband, Lawrence Davis Wilson; daughter, Sarah Jane Lang and husband, David D.; son, Paul E. Maaz, III and wife, Sharon; son, Kenneth Ray Maaz; step daughter, Karen Wienken and husband, John H.; sister, Elizabeth Ballenger; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. The family will receive visitors from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, April 25, 2003 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 26, 2003 in the Main Chapel of the funeral home. Interment to follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. The Family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Park Place Baptist Church where she had been a member for over 50 years.
