Jerry Lee McGlothlin, 56, passed away Friday, October 30, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon & Betty McGlothlin. Left to cherish Jerry’s memory are his Aunt, Mary Moore; first cousins, Glenn Moore and wife, Sheryl, Sherry Barr and husband, Larry; second cousins, Amber and Paige Moore, Lindsey Taylor and husband, Jim, Rachel Rivera and husband, Ramon, and Kelsey Sharp; very close friend, Barbara Field; his favorite boss, Jimmy Anderson; and a host of many other family and friends. Jerry had a strong work ethic and was very dedicated to his job and friends. He had a successful career at Asphalt Transport Inc. for thirteen years and worked in the same industry for thirty years. Jerry really enjoyed spending time with his co-workers, and many became great friends. Jerry loved gaming and animation, 3rd Party Shooters and Call of Duty were among his favorite video games. Jerry enjoyed talking about food, he loved a good meal, and always looked forward to trying new dishes. Jerry enjoyed fantasy football and watching television, especially Sci-Fi movies. Jerry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A graveside service for Jerry will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at 11:00 am, at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, Texas 77023.
