Jacob (Jake) Nicholas Grant was born December 12, 1965 in Dallas, Texas. Jake succumbed to cancer on October 12, 2018 at his home in Sugar Land, Texas after a courageous 6-year battle with cancer.

Jake attended Bunker Hill Elementary, Spring Branch Jr. High, and Memorial High School where he was on the soccer team. He graduated from Texas State University with a BBA degree.
