Charles Nelson “Trey” Shields III, a wonderful and loving father, brother, nephew and friend, passed away on Monday, the 2nd of January 2023, from complications due to his myotonic dystrophy, a horrible and degenerative disease which he endured for the last 25 years of his life. Trey and I were childhood friends in early grade school (1st, 2nd, 3rd grades) and frequently visited each other's homes to play. We lived in the same neighborhood. I am sorry he suffered so much, but I am glad his suffering is over. I am just learning of his death. Please pray for Trey. - Bill White
