Does anyone remember a Saundra Templet (65')?  We went to school together from 7th grade at Burbank till we graduated in 65' and then we lost touch.  At one time, she was married to a guy named James Mathis.

Does anybody know what happened to Larry Roberts? We lived on the same street (Luetta) and grew up together in Little League, Cub Scouts, and went to Burbank and then Sam Houston graduating in '69. We were best friends all that time and even though our curriculum varied were in a lot of places and fuctions together because our last name started with "R". After graduation I went to U. of Texas and Larry started working for the telephone company (SW Bell). A short time later he got married and I was the best man at his wedding. He bought a house in North Houston and was there for several years. The telephone company eventually transferred him up north somewhere (Ohio?, who knows?). His parents like my parents still lived on Luetta St. but his parents eventually died and I have no way of finding my old best friend. Does anybody know of him or have any ideas how I can find him?

Larry, you might try to Google his name.  I found addresses for some old friends that way.  It does help if you have an idea of what State they are living in because it will sometimes bring up a person with the name you are seeking and show several different States.  But it is a good start.  Also you might check Classmates.com in case he joined it.   Also you might check with your class rep to see if they have any info on file.

This was another amazing story of coincidences (it seems like my life has been full of them). I called my parents last week and mentioned to my Dad that we had this upcoming 40th reunion coming up. I said I was looking for my old 'best friend' Larry Roberts but thought it was going to be impossible to find him. So my Dad says "Well, your Mom was just talking to Jean Roberts (Larry's Mom) just a few days ago. Why don't you call her?" So I called his Mom (from Angola), talked with her a bit, and she gave me Larry's telephone number in Atlanta, Ga. I called Larry and talked with him for 30 minutes. It's great to hear what your old friends have been doing for the last 40 years. I guess it would have helped if I knew earlier what State he lived in (like Connie Drake suggested). However, without knowing a location it's impossible. A "people search" on MY name recently showed 43 of ME in the U.S.
