Did not know for sure. Worked at boring jobs and said to myself, enough of this. Went to college got a degree in mechanical engineering. Worked in the oil field after college for three years until it went bust.
Then to NASA where I am still working (if you can call it working) today.

restore old motorcycles, I have 50 or so of them. Go to the Barber vintage motorcycle festival held in Birmingham Alabama each year.
Love to travel to new cities/state/countries throughout the US and the world.
My work at NASA provides the opportunity to do so since I work with the International partners and support rocket launches in Kazakhstan, Japan, Florida and Virginia.

Name something you dearly love. and why?

Travel, I find new places interesting. I have been all over the world and enjoy meeting people. They seem the same no matter where you go.

I know my way around most European cities, Moscow, and Tokyo. Takes about 3 days to figure out with how to get around on transportation systems.

Working in the space business, including Space Shuttle, ISS, Japanese and Russian Space vehicles and SpaceX

Any words of wisdom?

Figure out how to make a living doing what you enjoy and it is not work.
Try new things, get out of your comfort zone and see what happens.

Is there a moment in your life that stands out? A moment that defines who you are? Other than kids being born or your wedding day.

Saving NASA millions of dollars by coming up with a solution to a problem with a science experiment on ISS.
Every time I watch a launch that I have had a part of, all the hard work is worth it.
