Chris Morris (AKA Shoot'em Black) was a star player on Sam Houston's 1985 District champion basketball team. The untimely death of Black was a surpris to all who knew him. The week before his death, myself (Sherman Travis), Horace Colemand, and Michael Brown got a chance to "kick it" with Black at a sports bar the night the Dallas Cowboys beat the New Orleans Saints. I never though that would be the last time i would see chris alive. He was a great friend, classmate, and teammate and he will be missed.  R.I.P. Black
