11/26/08 12:16 AM #1709

Vicki Johnson (Patzold)

Ok this is on a different subject and directed solely at one person, if he just happens to look at this he will know exactly what this is about or he better.....LOL

OSCAR HINOJOSA YOU SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh yeah and you lied too....LOL

Told you I wanted it in writing!

11/26/08 12:33 AM #1710

Rebecca Atchison (Welch)

Oh no V don't change the subject....all us LOYAL UT fans wanna know just what the heck a t-sip or whatever is. Come on now if your gonna dog us atleast let us know what it means...unless ofcourse its one of those ridiculous meanings only an "Aggie" would understand:)

11/26/08 12:55 AM #1711

Brenda Kasprzak (Schelski)

Okay all you night owls... I cant sleep. Enlighten me. What the hell is a t-sip???

11/26/08 08:57 AM #1712

Vicki Johnson (Patzold)

ok first of all. wasn't changing the subject just stating the fact that Oscar Hinojosa Sucks and he knows why.....LOL. Dear lord you people are pathetic. How can you claim to be true and loyal UT fans and not know about traditions that go on between Texas A&M and Texas?

Below is the Urban Dictionary's listing for t-sip

1. tea-sip
One who attends or attended the University of Texas (t.u.) in Austin, Texas.

The term tea-sip (also spelled teasip, t-sip, or t sip) was started by students of Texas A&M University (aka. Aggies) in the early 1900's to belittle the well-to-do students of t.u.
The University of Texas was traditionally the "rich" school which pumped out doctors, lawyers and the like. A&M was the blue collar school which traditionally taught Agriculture and Mechanics (engineering).
The Aggies play the teasips on Thanksgiving day.

I'm sick of all those hippy teasips in Austin.
by Henry Hill Feb 8, 2005

2. tea-sip
one who attends U.T.
My friend Mitch is a tea-sip.

Sheryl Morris (Gilmore)

Hey yall!
Brenda-sorry to hear about your family,I'll pray for yall.
Louis,Becky, & Vicky, I root for the Longhorns when they play someone else other the Aggies & vice-versa. I'm just a Texas girl! When they play each other,it's the Aggies because it really pisses my Dad off! No, really, I choose the Aggies because I'm planting a seed in my daughters' heads. That's where I'm set on them going. Why not it'll be close to home!Well it'll be the one, that's the closest!
Thanksgiving--We stay at home and cook.We used to be the ones that traveled, now we cook and everyone comes out here! We all eat and then play cards all afternoon.
Wishing everyone a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

Hey everyone... Thanksgiving will be hard for us this year and to top everything off Dave's sis will be there. I'm going to put a huge smile on my face and try to have a good time. I'm glad Dave's grandmother will be there. I just love her. She is in her 80's and can still play several instruments including the electric guitar, drums, and fiddle. I really hope this year is not her last. Dave said that she has not cried and does not want chemo. She is just accepting it. She is such a strong lady. I admire her so much. HAVE A VERY HAPPY AND SAFE THANKSGIVING AND EVERYONE PLEASE COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS.

Oh V relax...you take everything so seriously...have a sense of humor!!!

thanks for the meaning..it's all good...I'll take it. Sorry I don'thave any fancy words for Aggie....it pretty much works for me:) Everybody enjoy the game:) And Sheryl don't tell anyone but I do the same thing as long as UT aren't the ones playing....but I would hate V to think I could ever root for an Aggie:) LOL

I hope everyone has a very Happy Thanksgiving. And don't worry Bren my sister decided not to come for dinner...she's coming to visit....because she is dating a family destroyer as well...no big fights...We just don't bow down to accomadate his stupidity...oh well he can stay home:) He's one of those better than you types. God forbid he come to a "trailer" for Thanksgivivng. His loss cause my mom is the BOMB cook!!!!

Vicki Johnson (Patzold)

I have a sense of humor......I did date a longhorn once!

Granted I liked to cover up his diploma with a tee shirt or something but still. He and I to this day still have a running thing......if we win I call him and he has to listen to me....and if they win he calls me and I listen to him. It's a trade off. My husband however if the longhorns win will actually leave the house so he doesn't have to hear the phone ring....LOL. The other side note to that is my husband also doesn't want to be here if they lose cause I'm in a bad mood. If they win he still doesn't want to be here, cause I'm bouncing off the walls...LOL

I'm a die hard Aggie fan, have been for dear lord I can't even start to tell you for how long. My husband of course gets picked on about his Aggie stuff he has. He tells people look I like them both, but I cheer for the Aggies so I don't have to sleep outside...LOL

Aggies vs Longhorns falls into the same category as my political party........YOU ARE NOT GOING TO CHANGE MY MIND SO YOU MIGHT AS WELL GIVE IT UP NOW....LOL

Well, I'm a Big XII fan. North and South. I guess you kinda have to be that way when you leave home at 17 then joing the Army at 19. You end up meeting people from all over the country so you kinda develop this whole my part of the country is better than yours or my state is better than yours or my conference is better than your conference. As long as the Big XII is whoopin ass, I don't care who it is. But on that note, you have to wonder who my heart belongs to within the Conference. It belongs to Texas, but I will root for whoever has the best chance of going to the National Championship and kickin some other conference's ass. This year we have two. Texas and Oklahoma. I want a Red River Rematch for the National Championship.

Vicki Johnson (Patzold)

Well see LJ I guess that's where the big difference comes in. I do not watch football for the most part! I watch one football game a year and that takes place either on Thanksgiving Day or the day after (depending on what school the game is being played at) So that's why I really don't cheer for anyone other than the Aggies......primarily cause I DON'T CARE. I'm lucky, as in my husband doesn't even watch football. Matter of fact it drives him crazy when I watch the one game a year that I do. I yell and scream at the TV like they can actually hear me. Isn't it supposed to be the other way around?...LOL.

Ok I am paying up on my bet with Oscar Hinojosa.

*Longhorns Rule.

*typed under protest, I'm now considering cutting off my hands just for the mere fact I actually typed that statement. I guess after losing for the past two years they finally had enough energy to win a game against my beloved Texas Aggies!.....LOL

PS.........by the way Oscar you didn't keep your promise and you SUCK!..I love you anyways but you still suck...LOL.

Rebecca Atchison (Welch)

Love ya for it V...and hey just for you:

Aggies..."they aren't so bad" :)

And I won't even brag:)

Well I am off to sleep. Did the yes I am crazy thing at Walmart..had a planned strategy, and after stopping to eat breakfast was home by 6:10. In fact we stood in line at the register waitng for the lady to open:) Yep God is good to me:) and I am good to my spoiled rotten children:) whom I wouldn't have any other way!!!

Nite nite everyone!!!

11/28/08 08:40 PM #1727

Sheryl Morris (Gilmore)

Poor Aggies-seem to be like the poor ole Texans! Didn't get to watch the game & am sure I would have turned it off anyway!
Becky--I went to Walmart around 6.a.m. It was a night-mare! I got very lucky there, too! My children will be blessed-rotten children also. Target was a nightmare,as well, but Katy mills mall was not, atleast while we were there. We were home by 10 a.m. I as well took a much-needed good long nap.
Oh yeah-talked to Taye about playing Santa-he said he won't be able to take-off through the rest of the yr.He did think it was funny, though!

11/28/08 09:48 PM #1728

Brenda Kasprzak (Schelski)

Hey all... Did the Walmart thing also. I have been awake since 3:30am after going to bed at 12:00am. I'm falling asleep as I type this. Alyssa fell asleep on the way home from Dave's parents house. She wont give up and I'm ready to give up.
On a sad note... My dad had a car accident and totaled their car today. He seems to be okay. We keep telling him he doesn't need to be driving anymore but he is a stubborn polock. He cant carry a cell phone because of his pacemaker and we have no way of tracking him. My mom is so upset. They only had liability insurance. I don't want to ask whats next because I'm scared of the answer. All I can say is LORD HELP US PLEASE!!!

11/29/08 12:50 AM #1729

Rebecca Atchison (Welch)

Awe...sorry to hear about your Dad. That's terrible. I hope everything will work out!

Well I slept till noon today then drug myself out of bed so we could do the after Thanksgiving homemade Christmas cookie thing with the kids. Bailey whom I thought would do better this year still ate more icing and sprinkles than she decorated but this was John's first year and he was so focused and took his time and everything. I was so amazed at his patience to decorate a simple cookie. And when he was done with one he would clap and go "yeh I did it, noder un peeze". I took a few pics.

Throw a birthday party in there for our neighbors son and then....

My crazy self took my 13 year old niece and a couple of her friends to the mall...CRAZY I tell you. But at 8:30 at night it wasn't so bad. We still got some good deals! And now, more than drained isn't even a good word to describe myself right now I am outta here!!!

Hope you all had a very Happy Thanksgiving and Blessed Day!!!!!

Oscar Hinojosa

11/29/08 12:57 AM #1731

Oscar Hinojosa

Vicki,

Like I promised, SORRY for not calling you back.

I was celebrating the LONG HORN victory.

To everyone that's an Aggie, ya have a great team and a great University. That I must admit, BEAT the Long Horns last year. With the exception of VICKI, Gig-em!!!lol

P.S. I did eat at the CHICKEN when I visited ATM a couple of weeks ago.

11/29/08 12:25 PM #1732

Vicki Johnson (Patzold)

Cookie-first of all don't blame celebrating on your reason for not calling back. That was Thursday and you were suppose to call me back on Tuesday! Second of all you ate the The Dixie Chicken, what about Freebirds, Double Dave's, or Koppe Bridge?

I still love ya, even if you are a butthead..LOL
