Scott Wilmont
   1950-2015

Scott David Wilmont was born September 12, 1950 in Seattle, Washington.  He was the son of Leslie Wilmont and Margaret Wilmont.  He passed away July 17, 2015, in Katy, Texas.  He was 64 years old.

Scott David Wilmot passed away on July 17, 2015. Born September 12, 1950 in Seattle, Washington, Scott earned degrees in Computer Science and Biology from the University of Houston.

As a startup member of Compaq, he worked with the fine people at Compaq and Hewlett-Packard for over 20 years. He enjoyed reading science fiction, cooking, traveling internationally, and volunteering with the Boy Scouts.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Karen Minar Wilmot; his three children, Sabrina Rowe and son-in-law Adam Rowe; Megan Wilmot; David Wilmot and daughter-in-law Jaclyn Mahshi; and four grandchildren, Ethan Rowe, Logan Rowe, Madeleine Wilmot, and Olivia Wilmot. He is preceded in death by his father, Leslie Wilmot, and mother, Margaret Wilmot.

The Memorial Service will be held on July 25, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Houston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
